When creating online accounts, certain services will ask you to create a password with at least one uppercase character, a number or a special character, which can make your password hard to remember. If you need to write down your passwords, you should find a way to protect them. Passwords Base can keep your usernames and passwords safe in a password protected database. Instead of committing multiple passwords to memory, you only need to remember one password.

You can try the application, free of charge, for 10 days, after which you have to pay for a license. Installing Passwords Base takes only a few seconds even on computers with older hardware. The application is available in English and Russian and it is compatible with all popular Windows versions.

Passwords Base comes with a compact user interface, which displays account information, like title, username, password and URL in separate fields. A series of options are available in the lower region of the window, which allow you to go to the next or previous account, create new entries, open URLs and perform other actions. New account entries can be defined on a separate window, just by typing the relevant information in the appropriate input fields.

If you don't want to browse through your accounts with Next and Back buttons, you can select an option to show all accounts in a table of contents, on the same user interface. For safety reasons, all passwords on the main interface are hidden, but you can reveal them if you want to. The application can also protect your passwords from people who are looking over your shoulder. A copy option can be found next to each information field. Rather than revealing your login credentials, you may copy them to the clipboard and paste them directly on a sign in page.

Pros

You can store your usernames and passwords in a secure database. The application allows you to copy individual details to the clipboard, so you don't have to type or reveal your passwords to people who are looking over your shoulder.

Cons

The application doesn't provide any auto-fill features. With Passwords Base, you can keep all your login credentials safe from prying eyes, without any effort.
